Abstract
A multifunctional composite film has been constructed by cadmium oxide nanoparticles (CdO) and 12-tungstophosphate H3[PW12O40]3â (PW12) using the layer-by-layer (LBL) self-assembly method. The incorporation of CdO nanoparticles into the multilayer composite film enhances photocatalytic activity toward methyl orange (MO) solution. Meanwhile, the luminescent and reversible electrochromic properties of the composite film were investigated.
