Abstract
⺠La0.85Na0.15MnO3 was synthesized using the Spark Plasma Sintering technique. ⺠Large magnetocaloric effect is related to a second-order magnetic transition and grain size. ⺠The relative cooling power value at 5 T reaches 316.6 J kgâ1. ⺠These results make our compound potential candidate for magnetic refrigeration.
