Abstract
The calorimetric measurements have been made in glassy Se and glassy Se98M2 (M = In, Sb and Sn) alloys using non-isothermal DSC Technique. The effects of In, Sb and Sn additives on the glass transition and crystallization kinetics of glassy Se have been studied. From the heating rate dependence of glass transition temperature Tg and crystallization temperature Tc, different kinetic parameters of glass transition and crystallization have been evaluated.
► Metal induced effects on phase transitions in glassy selenium have been studied. ► Incorporation of In, Sb and Sn reduce the thermal stability of glassy selenium. ► Activation energy of crystallization is increased with increased in thermal stability of binary glasses.
