Abstract
⺠Sr and heat treatment both enhanced the wear-corrosion resistance of A356 alloy. ⺠Microstructural change from addition of Sr reduced surface crack and material loss. ⺠Heat treatment reinforced α-Al and corrosion resistance, resulted in limited damage. ⺠Improvement from heat treatment is higher than that only caused by addition of Sr.
