Abstract
⺠Nickel phosphorus composite coatings NiP-talc particles are developed. ⺠The content of particles increase with talc content of the bath and are distributed randomly on the coatings. ⺠A significant decrease in rigidity is observed by adding small amounts of particles of talc. ⺠The toughness increases with the insertion of talc when the deposit is heat treated at 420 °C ⺠Rough or heat treated at 600 °C deposits have a ductile behavior unlike the treated at 420 °C deposits.
