Abstract
⺠Fluorapatite nanorods were produced hydrothermally with different fluorine content. ⺠Fluorine substitution was found to alter the morphology of crystals appreciably. ⺠It enhances the crystallinity, orientation dependent growth and hence aspect ratio. ⺠In vitro cellular analysis shows excellent cell viability of the fluorapatite.
