Abstract
⺠Upconversion (UC) inverse opal (LaPO4:Yb, Tb) photonic crystals were prepared. ⺠An enhancement of excitation state absorption was realized in the inverse opal. ⺠UC emission suppression from intermediate excited state was detected in inverse opal. ⺠An enhancement of UC emission from upper excited state was obtained.
