Abstract
⺠Mechanochemical treatment of Ti/Fe2O3 powders induces fast redox reactions at RT. ⺠Composite materials Fe/TiO2 or Fe/FeTiO3 are formed according to starting Ti/Fe ratio. ⺠These materials show high saturation magnetization and a relatively high coercivity. ⺠Heating favors the formation of FeTiO3, decreasing the magnetization and coercivity.
