Abstract
► Nanorod-shaped LiMn1.5Ni0.5O4 powders are synthesized by a co-precipitation method. ► The mole ratio of oxalic acid to metal is the key to control their morphology. ► The cathode materials exhibit high discharge capacity and good capacity retention.
