Abstract
⺠The polythiophene thin films were deposited by chemical bath deposition method for the first time. ⺠The oxidant concentration strongly affects the properties of the polythiophene thin films. ⺠The thickness of the film found to be increase with respect to increase in oxidant concentration. ⺠The increase in the thickness causes decrease in the transmittance, increase in the refractive index.
