Abstract
► Carbon nanotubes-copper composites were prepared directly. ► Copper nanoparticles were simultaneously in situ formed in carbon nanotubes. ► Electrodes were modified with platinum particles supported on such composites. ► Electrodes showed excellent electrocatalytic activity for oxidation of methanol.
