Abstract
⺠Differences in microstructure between two sides of alloy ribbon were observed. ⺠Influence of these differences on thermally induced structural transformations were investigated. ⺠Microstructural differences increased in initial stages of crystallization. ⺠Microstructural differences decreased significantly in fully crystallized alloy. ⺠Phase composition differences greatest in fully crystallized alloy.
