Abstract
► A stable PVP/poly(urushiol)-CuS superhydrophobic multilayer film was fabricated. ► The film was obtained by layer-by-layer assembly method. ► Urushiol-Cu was polymerized into poly(urushiol)-Cu catalyzed by the PVP-Cu complex. ► The introduction of S2− resulted in the formation of hierarchical structures. ► Water contact angle of the as-prepared film added up to 152°.
