Abstract
⺠In and Te high purity powders were submitted to mechanical alloying process. ⺠In4Te3 nanocrystalline phase was nucleated in 2 h of synthesis. ⺠A non-reacted In still is present in final compound. ⺠The melting point for the In4Te3 and In decreased due to nanometer character. ⺠The In4Te3 phase is structurally stable even after one year of its production.
