Abstract
► The fluorescence spectra of GGG:Eu3+ nanoparticles have been measured under pressures of up to 63 kbar at room temperature. ► A red-shift for considered lines were 0.029 nm kbar−1, 0.033 nm kbar−1 and 0.052 nm kbar−1, respectively. ► The fluorescence lifetime τ rapidly decreases from the ambient pressure up to about 20 kbar and after that it is unchanged. ► The pressure effect of the fluorescence lifetime τ for line at 610 nm (5D0 → 7F2 transition) was explained by simple model.
