Abstract
⺠We synthesize quaternary CuInSSe nanocrystals in solution. ⺠Oleylamine acts as solvent and capping agent. ⺠Cu reacts faster with anions than In. ⺠Pure CuInSSe nanocrystals are obtained at temperatures above 180 °C.
