Abstract
► LiFePO4/Si shows superior C-rate and elevated-temperature performances. ► H+ is suppressed by hydrogen bonding to the silicon dangling bonds in α-Si film. ► Fluorosilica on LiFePO4 hinders the interaction between LiFePO4 and electrolyte. ► Oxidized silicon injects electrons and generates a current during the dissolution.
