Abstract
⺠Carbon-coated TiO2 nanotubes are prepared by sol-gel mixing with poly(vinyl pyrrolidone). ⺠The poly(vinyl pyrrolidone) component forms partially crystalline carbon layer. ⺠The carbon layer allows an excellent cycle performance and high-rate capability for lithium-ion batteries.
