Abstract
⺠We used cysteine as surfactant to synthesize stable magnetite-based ferrofluids. ⺠pH increase from 11 to 12 led to particle size decrease from 19.58 to 10.02 nm. ⺠Cytotoxicity assay showed that synthesized particles were biocompatible. ⺠MRI results showed that magnetite particles were accumulated in lymph nodes.
