Abstract
⺠Successful synthesis of nanocrystalline lead europium chalcogenides, a potentially technologically significant dilute magnetic semiconductor. ⺠Evidence of control over the phase separation of PbS and EuS materials, yielding a stable ternary alloy with europium content up to fifteen percent. ⺠Facile tunability of the magnetic properties of these ternary nanocrystals as a function of europium content.
