Abstract

- Coating formulations with EA 70%, HD 20%, and castor oil 10% under 1 Mrad pass−1 irradiation dose showed the best adhesion and passed bending tests.
- The prepared EP-SF-An adduct improve anti-corrosion properties of coatings without any significant effect on physical, mechanical and chemical properties of the cured film. The optimum amount of aniline adduct as corrosion inhibitor was found to be 0.4 g for 100 g of coating formulation.
- The corrosion inhibition efficiency of the prepared adduct competed the commercial efficiency.
