Abstract
Polyacrylamide/Zn0.4Ni0.5Cu0.1Fe2O4 (PAM/ZNCFO) composites have been successfully synthesized by in situ polymerization with azobisisobutyronitrile (AIBN) as an initiator. Crystal structure, morphology and magnetic properties of composites were studied by X-ray diffractometer (XRD), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM). Thermal stability and electromagnetic loss of samples was determined by the thermogravimetric analyzer (TG) and the impedance/material analyzer. The results showed that electromagnetic properties of the PAM/ZNCFO composites were related to the mass ratio of AM/ZNCFO, the polymerization time and temperature.
