Abstract
In the present study, the BaTiO3–Ni nanocomposites with high percolation limit were prepared. Nano-sized Ni particles were first mixed into a BaTiO3 powder. By encouraging the growth of BaTiO3 grains during sintering, the nano-sized Ni particles could form large cluster. The percolation threshold of the Ni clusters in the BaTiO3 matrix is higher than 35 vol%. For the BaTiO3–35%Ni nanocomposite, the relative permittivity and specific saturated magnetization reach 28,800 and 25 emu g−1, respectively.
