Abstract
We report on the synthesis and characterization of a series of halo-substituted polyanilines into VOPO4·2H2O. Treatment of the corresponding monomers with the highly oxidizing host VOPO4·2H2O resulted in in situ intercalation/polymerization. The resulting intercalated nanocomposites were characterized by powder X-ray diffraction, FTIR spectroscopy and thermogravimetric analysis.
