Abstract
The electrical conduction and dielectric properties of cesium sulfate, based materials of Cs2CO3:H2SO4:H3PO4 system with mole ratio 2:1:1, respectively, have been investigated in the temperature range 273–473 K and frequency range 50 Hz to 1 MHz. The data predict a phase transition for cesium sulfate at 300K. Both dielectric permittivity ɛ′ and dielectric loss ɛ″ illustrated peak around 300 K, due to the ferroelectric–paraelectric phase transition. The total conductivity is found to obey the power relation σtot = σdc + Aωs, the power 0.4 < s > 1.0 suggests the quantum mechanic tunneling model.
