Abstract
- Cd1âxGdxS nanoparticles have been prepared in aqueous medium in presence of CTAB.
- From XRD, EDX and ICP-OES study, successful doping of Gd3+ in CdS has been proved.
- Gd3+ doping reduced size of NCs, while temperature increased size and altered shape.
- Gd3+ doping and reaction temperature influenced the optical properties of NCs.
