Abstract
⺠A composite film of YVO4:Bi3+,Eu3+ nanophosphor and polyurethane was prepared. ⺠The composite film exhibits a unique photophysicochemical behavior. ⺠The nanophosphor shows red photoluminescence under near-UV light irradiation. ⺠The nanophosphor also acts as a photooxidative decomposer of polyurethane. ⺠Luminescent intensity becomes an indicator for the decomposition of polyurethane.
