Abstract

Eu2+,Mn2+ co-doped SrZn2(PO4)2 phosphor was prepared by solid-state reaction method under reducing atmosphere. The influence of Eu2+,Mn2+ and Ba2+ doping concentration in the SrZn2(PO4)2 on the relative PL intensity were investigated, respectively. The excitation bands of the phosphor range from 260 nm to 400 nm, which can be excited effectively by InGaN chip. The emission bands consist of two peaks located at 416 nm and 525 nm when Eu2+,Mn2+ co-doped in SrZn2(PO4)2. The CIE color-coordinate parameters x, y vary regularly with the increasing content of Mn2+ and Ba2+ ions. A white light-emitting diode (LED) was fabricated through combining the phosphor with a 370 nm InGaN chip, indicating that the SrZn2(PO4)2:Eu2+,Mn2+ phosphor is a promising single white emitting phosphor.
