Nine layered manganite based multilayer structure of La0.5Pr0.2Sr0.3MnO3 (LPSMO) {5}/La0.5Pr0.2Ba0.3MnO3 (LPBMO) {4} has been successfully fabricated on a LaAlO3 (LAO) substrate to study its field and temperature sensing properties. For studying the magnetotransport properties of this multilayer, current perpendicular to plane (CPP) and current in plane (CIP) mode resistivity measurements have been carried out in various fields up to 8T. Large temperature coefficient of resistance (TCR) ∼3% and field coefficient of resistance (FCR) ∼−29% alongwith an appreciably large MR ∼60% has been observed at room temperature (RT). The observed large field and temperature sensitivity of multilayer grown has been explained by comparing the results of magnetotransport in CPP and CIP mode.
