Abstract
► A novel attempt for thin film Sn-Co-Ni alloy anode material for Li-ion rechargeable batteries. ► The thin film Sn-Co-Ni alloy porous anode was prepared by electroplating by using DC power source. ► The rod like structure of thin film Sn-Co-Ni alloy was more crystalline. ► The cycling performance of thin film Sn-Co-Ni alloy anode initial specific capacity of about 717 mAh g−1 at 0.1 C rate.
