Abstract
Hong-Ou-Mandel interferometer was explored to investigate shape distortion and phase dispersion of single photon wavepacket in surface plasmon assisted transmission. We found that the distortion and dispersion in this process can be neglected under some experimental conditions. Our experiment may also be useful in temporal measurement of the surface plasmon assisted transmission process.
