Abstract
A polarization dependent dual-band EIT-like effect (0.35Â THz and 0.7Â THz) has been applied to optimize the FSS-based terahertz devices. The simulated and experimental results show that such devices can act as a polarization dependent narrowband THz wave filter. Under modulation signal, the optical controllable design can be adopted as a flexible polarization modulator. These results can be further applied in polarization controllable terahertz source for nonlinear terahertz optics.
