Abstract
We reported a high repetition rate laser-diode end-pumped passively Q-switched Nd:LuVO4/Cr4+:YAG 916 nm laser. The maximum repetition rate reaches ~730 kHz with a pulse width of 30.8 ns at the maximum pump power. A highest average output power of 0.85 W is achieved in passively Q-switched 916 nm laser at the maximum incident pump power. To the best of our knowledge, it is the highest average output power in the Q-switched 916 nm lasers.
