Abstract

In this paper, we introduce an easy method called radial Hilbert transform phase retrieval algorithm in order to extract phase distribution from single circular carrier interferogram. This new method overcomes the drawbacks of sign ambiguity via some traditional phase retrieval algorithms and simplifies the phase unwrapping method as only one dimensional phase unwrapping is needed. It also remains the advantages of Hilbert transform method such as it could realize automatically calculation without choosing specific information as fast Fourier transform method and obtain more details since it remains more high order information in frequency domain. The approach could be applied to calculate the wavefront from circular carrier interferograms.
