Abstract
Axicon, a useful optical element for generating non-diffracting beams, can extend the depth of field of imaging system, and the acquired images are insensitive to out of focus. However the images are not clear as well as low contrast. By analyzing the imaging characteristics of the non-diffracting imaging system and the properties of the point spread function, we present an image restoration method of multiple images fusion. It can reduce the influence of random noise and improve the high frequency part of the image. Experimental results show that this method can effectively enhance image detail and realize clear imaging within the large depth of field.
