Abstract
We presented the high temperature dependence of the photovoltaic effects in selected manganite films on miscut MgO substrates. The photovoltaic effect is induced by 248 nm ultraviolet laser pulse irradiation and occurs without an applied bias. With the increase in the temperature of La2/3Ca1/3MnO3 film from 20 to 500 °C its peak photovoltage and photocurrent were kept stable at ∼11.31 V and 0.63 A with the sensitivities of ∼0.377 V/mJ and 0.021 A/mJ, respectively. The experimental results indicate that the manganite film photodetectors have an attractive potential high temperature application in harsh environments.
