Abstract
A non-zero order joint transform correlator based on a Mach-Zehnder system is presented for optical pattern recognition. The reference function is yielded by simulated annealing algorithm. Additionally, in order to achieve global convergence, the cost function should be set appropriately. The reference function is successful for pattern recognition.
