Abstract
⺠The second resonance line of cesium is excited with laser radiation at 455 nm. ⺠Coherence is created in the 7P3/2 state by linearly polarized laser radiation. ⺠Coherence is transfered to lower states via spontaneous transitions. ⺠Magneto-optical resonances are studied in fluorescence at 455 nm, 852 nm, and 894 nm. ⺠A model based on the optical Bloch equations was developed to describe the signals.
