Abstract
⺠Accurately prediction of the color properties of a TNLCD for broadband illumination. ⺠Use of a simple microscopic model of the display that includes retardance dispersion. ⺠We model the display by means of a Jones matrix treatment. ⺠Representation of the gamut in CIExy and CIELAB color spaces. ⺠Optimized polarization configuration to increase the color gamut.
