Abstract
We propose a scheme for atom localization in a four-level atomic system by means of a radio-frequency field driving a hyperfine transition within the two ground states. It is found that, due to the quantum disturbed effect induced by the radio-frequency field, the property of atom localization can be significantly controlled. This scheme shows some characteristics that other schemes of atom localization do not have, which may provide some possibilities for the technological applications in atom nano-lithography.
