Abstract
⺠Transparent and well defined crystals of a new hybrid GSPN have been synthesised. ⺠Addition of strong acid is shown to enhance the non linear optical (SHG) response. ⺠Comparative FTIR and Raman Studies show a molecule with lack of symmetry. ⺠Band gap energy of 5.72 eV and presence of wide transparent window. ⺠Meyers work hardening index of 1.7 times and increase in melting point by 42 °C.
