Abstract
The gain flattening of Yb3+-doped fiber amplifier of 1053Â nm band has been realized in experiment using three cascade 1Â ÃÂ 2 fused tapered fiber coupler. The gain flattening band is about 20Â nm with less than 1Â dB power fluctuation around 1053Â nm, which is agree with our numerical stimulation results very well.
