Abstract
This paper investigates entanglement between two atoms in two distant cavities, which are connected by an optical fiber. We give an exact expression of the evolution of the whole system, and study the entanglement between the two atoms. We find that even the fiber–cavity coupling constant is smaller than the atom–cavity coupling constant, high degree entanglement between the two atoms is obtainable. This result gives a new prospect for experimental realization.
