Abstract
We report on a widely tunable ytterbium fs-fiber laser without dispersion compensation. The all-normal dispersion laser contains a spectral filter for wavelength tuning and for generating additional amplitude modulation to support the nonlinear polarization evolution as mode-locking mechanism. By tilting the interference filter the center wavelength of the laser can be tuned from 1015 nm to 1050 nm with a pulse energy up to 2.0 nJ. The pulses can be dechirped externally to 108 fs.
