Abstract
The absorption temperature coefficient of CdS1−xSex nanocrystallites embedded in a silicate glass has been studied in the temperature range above room temperature at different technological regimes and sizes of nanocrystals. To understand the optical properties of silicate glasses with semiconductor nanocrystallites, especially that at the initial stage of their formation, it is necessary to include the structural changes occurring in the nanocrystals during the heat treatment.
