Abstract
A new type of laser resonator that is designed to extract good phase coherence and circular beams from an annular gain region is developed. We also calculated the parameters theoretically by applying the resonator to a CO2 laser. And the transfer characteristics of the output beam from the phase-locking laser resonator through a lens are also discussed.
