Abstract
The intensity distribution and the radiation force of the J0J0-correlated Schell-model (JSM) vortex beams focused by a lens are investigated. It is shown that the desired partially coherent vortex bottle beams in the focal region can be obtained by choosing appropriate values of the topological charge n and the correlation length σσ. It is shown that such vortex bottle beam (n⩾1) has several advantages over the bottle beam (n = 0). In addition, the degree of coherence is also shown to possess phase singularities.
