Abstract
Electromagnetically induced and saturable absorption transparencies are observed in several lines of the ν1 + ν3 acetylene absorption band using two novel all-fiber devices based on a hermetically sealed hollow-core-PCF filled with acetylene at sub-millibar pressure. The method for sealing the hollow-core-PCF at vacuum pressure is described and the devices’ flexibility is demonstrated by the generation of electromagnetically induced transparency at cryogenic temperature.
