Abstract
⺠The paper analyses data on prethreshold, switching and programming in chalcogenide. ⺠Mechanism of dimensionality: variation of filament current density is suggested. ⺠Equal area rule links shape of S-NDC curve to programming parameters. ⺠New criterias of material choice for phase-change memory are proposed.
