Abstract
⺠Shear horizontal wave propagation in a film at nano-scale is studied. ⺠Circular frequencies are significantly influenced by the surface effects. ⺠Surface effects introduce dispersion in shear horizontal waves. ⺠Some modes may escape and stop propagating by including surface effects.
